Sanjiv has been a practicing lawyer since 2011, with a diverse range of expertise across domestic violence, family law, child welfare, child representation, protection orders, criminal law, immigration, human rights/employment law, regulatory law, and appeals. He is a former Crown Counsel in the Family Department of Alberta Justice, where he gained extensive experience in child welfare, domestic violence, children's issues, and family law matters. Sanjiv has mediated hundreds of matters, specializing in child protection and all areas of family law, while also mediating disputes in other areas of the law. He is a fluent speaker of Punjabi and conversational in Hindi. Additionally, Sanjiv holds both the Registered Family Mediator and Certified Comprehensive Family Mediator designations.
