I provide elder care mediation and care navigation for families who are struggling to help their aging loved one. I mediate difficult conversations with families and their older loved one around care options and end of life.
I have worked in the field of geriatrics and palliative care in Halifax over the past 30 years. I have in depth knowledge of the resources both in the public and private sector. I use that knowledge to help provide options for care and to help mediate the conversations and decisions around care.
What I like best about what I do is moving families from a state of distress and sometimes crisis to a place of understanding and relief.
