Darrin Hotte is committed to support people in navigating conflict, transition and crisis. With 35+ years of leadership experience and specialized training in conflict, leadership, de-escalation, family systems, and relationships, he focuses on Separation/Divorce, Family Business, and De-Escalation Training. Darrin has mediated, facilitated or coached in 900+ disputes.

Working with diverse groups including the military, education, healthcare, housing, law, unions, indigenous communities, municipalities, and non-profits, his clients include BC Corrections, Canadian Red Cross, BC Hydro, WorkSafeBC, the Supreme and Provincial Courts of BC, SFU, UBC, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and the Port of Vancouver.

Darrin has served in leadership roles at all levels (Senior Leader, Director, Committee Chair, and Volunteer) in BC and Alberta, using his mediation, leadership and teaching skills to help groups, families and individuals take crucial steps forward in organizations with memberships ranging from 150 to 800 people.

Living on Vancouver’s North Shore, Darrin is a firefighter with Lions Bay Fire Rescue. He enjoys running, weight training, cycling, photography and jazz drumming. However, his greatest joy is his wife and two children.
