Professionalizing Mediation: Credentialing, Quality Assurance and Global Recognition

Liliana Amione is a lawyer and nationally and internationally certified mediator. She serves as Head of Program Quality and Appraisal at the International Mediation Institute (IMI), where she oversees global standards and appraisal processes for mediation training and assessment programs.
A 2023 Weinstein JAMS International Fellow, Liliana has contributed to mediation law reform initiatives in Argentina and works internationally to strengthen professional standards and credentialing systems. She has completed advanced mediation training at Pepperdine University, Stanford University, and UC Law San Francisco.
