Learn More: Substantial changes to the Divorce Act came into force on March 1, 2021. Amanda Stuart and Marie-Josée Poirier from the Family and Children’s Law Team, Department of Justice Canada, are offering training to provide you with an overview of the amendments.
Over the 2 sessions the course will cover the following:

Marie-Josée Poirier is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1998. She joined the Department of Justice in 2006. Since 2007, she works in the Family Law and Youth Justice Policy Section of the Department of Justice.
Marie-Josée Poirier est membre du Barreau du Québec depuis 1998. Elle a joint le Ministère de la Justice du Canada en 2006. Depuis 2007, elle travaille au sein de la Section de la politique en matière du droit de la famille et de la justice pour les jeunes du Ministère de la Justice du Canada.
Amanda Stewart is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. She has worked with the Department of Justice Canada’s Family Law and Youth Justice Policy Section as Legal Counsel, since 2011.
Amanda Stuart est membre du Barreau de l’Ontario. Elle travaille à titre d’avocate au sein de la Section de la politique en matière du droit de la famille et de la justice pour les jeunes du Ministère de la Justice du Canada, depuis 2011.
