Posted on September 30, 2020

Applying the Principle of Self Determination in Family Mediation:

A Family Mediation Canada Webinar

Presented by Amy Robertson

This webinar will give an overview of how self-determination decreases conflict and increases client satisfaction and empowerment. The course will explore what self-determination is and why it is important, how to actualize it in your practice, as well as some of the pitfalls and ethical dilemmas that may arise and how to manage them. This webinar was designed so that both new and experienced mediators can benefit, and we will unpack a case study to discuss how this works in practice.
